Our School Houses

At Peterhead Central, we have four school houses: Boddam, Slains, Ravenscraig and Inverugie, all named after local castle ruins.

Children are awarded house points for a wide range of achievements throughout the school term. These may be given for excellent work, positive behaviour choices, showing kindness, being thoughtful towards others, helping members of staff, or demonstrating our school values.

The house system encourages children to work hard, take responsibility, and develop as positive and responsible citizens within our wider community. At the end of each term, house points are totalled, and the winning house is awarded a small trophy.
